The Book Factory operates from a small cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds. We really enjoy the whole concept of creating a personal gift for a child that will be treasured for many years and will also encourage reading. In this modern age of computers and tv, we feel strongly that it is still important to for children to enjoy reading and also for parents to read to their children. Nothing can replace that bedtime story!

We sell our books in lots of other ways as well as online. We do many school and playgroup Christmas/Summer fayres, coffee mornings, fundraising events and party plan. If any groups are interested in fundraising, eg Brownies, Beavers, football teams, we pay small commisions for every book sold. We are also always looking for outlets where we can display our leaflets and again we offer a small commision in return.

We have links with other websites and are always interested in new ways for promoting our books, so we would love to hear from you if you have any ideas!

We have discovered, through doing lots of events that our books particularly appeal to grandparents who are looking for that special gift, and also, that many of the parents we have met still have their own personalised books that they were given as a child!
