Circus Birthday Star
On his birthday, John Steven Chambers, age six, was the happiest boy in Stonehouse. He was excited because he was going to the circus with Jacob, Harvey and Sam The Dog. As soon as they arrived at the circus, John bought popcorn and delicious cotton candy. Clutching his ticket, he anxiously waited in line.
As John neared the main entrance to the circus tent, he could see a funny clown juggling many balls. The ticket John held in his hand had a sparkling star on it. Seeing the star, the ticket-taker exclaimed, “Wait, little boy, your ticket is special. The star allows you to sit in the very front row!”
John rushed to his seat, and the show immediately began.
