Today was the day! Rich Hunt, aged eight, from Cheltenham, still couldn't believe he had been lucky enough to win the Football sweepstakes. The first prize had been tickets to watch his favourite team, Manchester United, play at the stadium. Rich was especially excited because as the big winner he was going to be able to sit on the bench with Wayne Rooney! Rich could take Martin, Adam, and Steven to the game, too.
Once inside the stadium, Rich, Martin, Adam, and Steven were ushered to the Manchester United dressing room.
“Rich, you're such a big fan of ours that we'd like to make you an honorary member of Manchester United,” the coach said. “Here's your very own strip.”
The coach then turned to the players. “Okay everybody, let's win this one for Rich!”
The team all cheered and ran out onto the pitch.
